Help?

 Anybody know how to search for posts by a specific user in communities when there isn't a tag for them. I know that whatever it is gets typed into the address bar, but I can't remember it, which is pissing me off. :(

Weird Question

 So I was looking at the tickets for the Nashville Con and basically sadfacing over the fact that there's no freaking way that I would be able to afford a ticket since, even if I miraculously came into five hundred quid, there would be no way I would be able to afford flights there from Scotland (would've asked my family to get me a ticket or give me the money for my birthday, but it's way too expensive and I'd feel really guilty) when I noticed that they do individual autographs as well.

So, what I was wondering was:

1. Would it be possible to give someone (not some random, obviously, someone in fandom that I actually vaguely know) who's planning on going the money to buy one of the autograph tickets to get RSJ's autograph for me?

2. Do people actually do the above, or would that make me weird, even by our fandom's standards? :P
