Wow, I knew there was a reason for me to be behind on the SPN episodes. It limited the angst my brain could see, especially when most of the people in fandom were way past it by the time I saw the potential.

Sort of relates back to this post I made a while ago.

Under the cut: SPOILERS FOR THE FINALE, ANGST THINKY THOUGHTS )

Have I depressed you all enough for today? Cool, I'm off to write more of the next part of Underneath Your Skin.

Both at the same time, with no gap between them. It's right above us, apparently. Lucky, lucky us. :P

I quite like thunder, lightning and that sort of stuff, but the last time the building actually rembled a little bit. O_O.

I've got Christian Kane's cover of Fast Car stuck in my head.

Okay, so I was hanging around with my friend Hanna- the one who loves porn, Richard Speight Jr, screamed during Adrift and thought he was a porn star because of his Twitter name- and things got a little crazy.

The theory: Gabriel is not dead. The shadow wings? They happened because he was almost dead, but he somehow escaped and exited TV land because- duh- he created it all in the first place. He then took over one of the big CW dickheads and is fucking with the schedule because he isn't happy that he isn't in it any more because, yeah, he's got the middle child complex.

HOW THE HELL DID NO ONE FIND HIM DURING ALL THAT TIME OF EARTH IF HE WAS CREATING WHOLE FREAKING REALITIES?!

So Gabriel's Changing Channels because he's pissed off, so they're pretty lucky that he doesn't have the Hammer of the Gods because then he'd put them through some serious shit, or maybe he should just stick them in a Mystery Spot and have them live out some of his Tall Tales...

Hanna tempted me. I am a slave to my brain! And Hanna. Sort of.

This post is called THE INSANITY for a reason. Salty popcorn, Fruity Pop lollies, SPN rewatches and general madness breed this stuff. Oh, and my muse is back, which lobbed petrol on the fire.

(Edited a little.)

A summary of four of the archangels from here.

Though all angels are strange and alien in personality to humans, the archangels all come across as equal parts immature and unstable. Of the four, Raphael is mad as a box of hammers, while Michael and Lucifer were the least mature. Gabriel seemed the most human, but even he showed signs of sociopathy in human terms.

I read this and ended up laughing my arse off.

Why?

Cut for length, man I can ramble... )

In other news, I quite like sociopaths, at least the fictional ones. I don't think I've met any real ones. One of my own characters is a sociopath (well, there's a debate between some of the other characters about whether he's a sociopath or a psychopath) and, aside from coming across as a bastard, he's a decent person.

Oh yeah, because I'm obsessive and it doesn't look right without one. :P

I wish my muse would stop giving me ideas for new fics before I've finished the one I'm writing. This one was sort of but not really inspired by All Good People by Nerina Pallot, which is a really cool song. It could also fit into the sub-plot of the gabriel_bigbang I'm writing, but we'll have to wait and see.

I now have no idea when I'll end up finishing/re-writing huge chunks of Letting the Light In because reading over it, it's nowhere near what I would normally let anyone see and I think I posted it because I was nervous and new and ugh, I still like the plot and some of the interactions, but the rest of it gives me a really iffy feeling. I don't think it's as good as what I could have written if I'd had a little more experience of writing fic in the fandom first, because Supernatural's my first fandom in a long time. It's either going to be something I do when my muse has skipped out- it's plotted out, it just needs to be written- or I'm going to redo it piece by piece and then post it as a side project.

Watched the first part of Bad Day at Black Rock and, honestly, if you put something sharp pointing up, you deserve to be skewered by it. Gordon is still creepy as Hell. I kinda like Bela, at least at the moment, because I like con-women and thieves, especially when they have aliases. My original stuff contains them, although not really the flirty type, more like the sneaky classy cat burgler without the class type.

Screwed about the my layout and made the first letter of the header red because I have a thing for red and it just looks so pretty. Tested out my portable DVD player and not only is it the cutest thing ever, the quality is amazing. I ate way too much chocolate and sugary stuff- I'm practically mainlining the stuff and I'm not even that big a fan sugary stuff.

Started figuring out my New Years resolutions and the first one is definitely going to write and finish the book before I go off to uni in September, because as much as I'm looking forward to it, I know I'll be busy.

[livejournal.com profile] chaypeta makes little plush dragons and I was a little bored, so I decided to click on one of the comms in the spotlight (which is weird, because I've never done that before) and I come across this little guy.

Guh. How adorable is it? And it's so detailed- look at the little ears, feet and that tail! *hugs*

I went into the kitchen to rinse my glass out before I started getting ready for bed. I switched the light on. Nothing happened. A few seconds letter it flickered on and off, crackling, before it switched on.

My reaction: OH MY GOD MY HOUSE IS HAUNTED! THIS IS AWESOME!

Mum's reaction: Will you shut up?!

Me: :-(

I never automatically thought that places were haunted before- okay, I did think that Bloody Mary lived in the graveyard beside my old primary school and if you said her name three times she'd kill you, but I was about seven at the time.

Still, I know it's probably just faulty wiring or the shitty bulb, but those minutes? Were brilliant. :-)
